Location
There is no district in Berlin even more diverse, multicultural, and colorful than Neukölln. Movie buffs, skaters, animal lovers, joggers, pub-goers, and soul food lovers - all these groups get their money's worth here. Neukölln gives all the neighborhoods and the district its unique character. One of them is called Reuterkiez, also known as Kreuzkölln. The Gründerzeit district to the north is lively and hip. It's a place for the young and those wanting to experience youth. It's a place for people looking for a rough, authentic, and exciting Berlin.
Neihborhood
The district's border is by the Maybachufer, Kottbusser Damm, Sonnenallee, Wildenbruchstraße, and Kiehlufer. Small shops and workshops in houses and courtyards can still be found here then, as well as everything that big shops don't have to offer: vintage fashion, all kinds of fabrics, yarns, or natural cosmetics. Those who love to stroll will feel very comfortable at the weekly markets in the area. From fruit and vegetables to oriental specialties, there is everything your heart desires. If you like it a little more commercial, you will find delicatessen items including shopping opportunities in the GALERIA market hall on Hermannplatz.
Falafel, salami, or seitan: culinary delights abound around the project, with countless international restaurants, bars, and cafés in the direction of Hasenheide, Maybachufer, or the Schillerkiez to the south. Fancy some more moderate activities? The area is also ideal for leisurely walks. There are plenty of meadows, jogging trails, and sun-protected picnic areas for sports lovers or idlers in Volkspark Hasenheide. Above all, it is the central location that makes the neighborhood and the location so outstanding. Various bus and underground stations are within walking distance and lead directly to the center of the capital, as well as medical facilities and schools perfectly round off the offer. And if you still have to run one or two last-minute errands, you are well served with all kinds of late-night shopping in the area.
